HELLO FROM CHINA was created for a truly tough audience—a room full of six-year-old kids. So how do you get them interested in a country they know or care little about? Develop the application from their point of view.
A six-year-old boy visits China and sends his little sister a series of animated postcards. The postcards become a fun, unexpected vehicle that not only introduces kids to the sounds and sights of China, but does so in a way that allows kids to experience the lives of children halfway around the world. It’s rewarding to watch children explore China’s art, geography, culture and architecture on their own, and to realize how much they’ve taken away long after the last mouse click.
