IGNITION PARTNERS, one of the Northwest’s premier venture capital firms, requested a site redesign that would reflect the company’s desire to simplify its web presence and present a low-key introduction to the firm. The site needed to be information-driven, easily updated to keep up with the ever-changing world of venture capitalism, and simple enough to keep the limelight not on Ignition, but on its portfolio companies featured on the site. In addition, the partners wanted the capability to update any element of the site internally. Many of the partners are avid bloggers, so the site redesign utilized blogging technology to keep the site current. The resulting site is focused, approachable and matter-of-fact—an accurate reflection of Ignition Partners.

GKD also produced a corollary site for Ignition’s Qiming fund.
